The White Wine Duchess cake with raspberries inside was a gift for a friend who's leaving the UK - the combination of a sponge cake, white wine custard, forest fruits and, obviously, the two ladybirds made it a hit :)

FIRST CORPORATE ORDER DELIVERED!

Busy mid-June week saw the first corporate order delivered at the office of Thomson Reuters in Canary Wharf. The sales floor enjoyed vanilla, chocolate and carrot cupcakes. Thanks for all new ideas for future sales cut-off cakes!

Let me explain where the idea of Baking Suite came from.

Having worked in the world of stock exchanges and financial corporations for close to 5 years, I can describe myself as a corporate highflyer turned in-house cake baker.

After years of consideration and continuous encouragement from family and friends from across Europe, I set up Baking Suite with two convictions. The first one is that among all sugar-packed and mass-made cupcakes sold in every corner of London, the city lacks a source of real, home-made sweet treats that do not only look, but also taste delicious. The second is my strong belief that putting a little love into a recipe guarantees its success – and since sharing food is sharing love, I hope to be spreading it around in big chunks! After all, it does look like it is a big chunk of love that the world needs now. And that’s what Baking Suite is about.
